Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving became an official Federal holiday in 1863 under the leadership of President Lincoln during the Civil War.  Since then, Americans have given thanks on this day and our tradition has spread to other parts of the world. Many give thanks for the loved ones in our lives, our freedom, our family and friends, food, shelter, and a whole lot more.

Last week, my daughter was in the hospital unexpectedly and there were moments where we did not know if she was going to make it.  She did, thankfully, and she has made a full recovery, but that was truly the most difficult day of my life. Life is precious, live it to the fullest!  My advice this holiday season is to reach out to your loved ones and let them know just how important they are to you. Repair a relationship, forgive someone, do whatever it is that your heart needs and remember that you can never say, “I love you” enough!

I am thankful for my amazing wife who fills me with strength every day and our incredible daughter who continuously redefines joy and happiness for our family.

I am thankful for our service members, police officers, firefighters, EMS, other first responders, teachers, nurses, doctors, and everyone else who selflessly serves and protects our Community and our Nation.

I am thankful for all of our campaign team members and volunteers who take time out of their lives to help us do whatever it takes to win this election.

I am thankful to live in the United States where we are continuously enriched with our amazing and diverse culture, especially our neighbors in District 2, who engage us in thought provoking conversations, spoil us with kindness, and fill us with hope for a better tomorrow!

It is my honor to campaign for you.  My family wishes everyone a very safe and happy Thanksgiving!
